FAQs About Onsite Massage & Bodywork Sessions

  • Your therapist will bring all necessary equipment, including a massage table, linens, and tools, directly to your location. We’ll start with a short consultation to tailor the session to your needs.

  • At a minimum, a clear space of 6’ x 9’ is needed to set up the massage table and allow the therapist to move. Please ensure the area is open and ready before the session begins.

  • If your location requires navigating multiple staircases or has limited access (e.g., no elevators, gate codes), please inform us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

  • Hydrate well before your session and wear loose, comfortable clothing, such as shorts or a sports bra, for easy access to treatment areas. You’re welcome to undress to your comfort level, whether that’s remaining partially clothed (e.g., boxers, briefs, or undergarments), rest assured, you will be properly draped at all times to ensure privacy and comfort throughout your session.

  • No, the session time reflects the hands-on treatment only. Additional time will be added for setup and tear-down, but this does not reduce your scheduled treatment time.

  • Yes! Discounts are available for two or more 30-minute sessions booked at the same location. You can also purchase packages to share among multiple people at the same location, making it easy and cost-effective to prioritize recovery and wellness for everyone.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost, and no-shows will be charged 100%.

  • Travel is not included in the session price. Mobile sessions are subject to a flat zone-based travel fee based on distance from the home office in Sneads Ferry, NC.

    • Zone 1 (0–12 miles): +$30 per session

    • Zone 2 (12–25 miles): +$50 per session

    Final travel pricing is confirmed prior to appointment approval.

  • Absolutely! Add-ons like Normatec compression therapy and kinesiology taping can be included to enhance your experience.

Cancellation Policy

  • Less than 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the reserved service amount.

  • No Notification: Failure to notify us of a cancellation will result in a full charge (100%) of the reserved service.

This policy ensures respect for our practitioners’ time, allows us to offer open slots to waitlisted clients, and helps maintain a full schedule so we can better serve everyone.

Minor Treatment Policy

At Sport Performance Therapy, the safety and well-being of our younger patients are our top priorities. Before treating a minor, we require the following:

  1. Consent Form: A parent or legal guardian must sign a Minor Consent Form before treatment begins.

  2. Supervision: A parent, guardian, or appointed adult must stay in the treatment room during the entire session.

  3. Open Communication: We encourage clear and open dialogue between our therapists and the supervising adult about any health updates or concerns.

Travel Policy

All mobile sessions are subject to a flat, zone-based travel fee determined by distance from the home office in Sneads Ferry, NC. Travel fees are confirmed prior to final appointment approval.

  • Zone 1 (0–12 miles): +$30 per session

  • Zone 2 (12–25 miles): +$50 per session

Requests beyond this range may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and may require extended travel fees and minimum session lengths.
